4.3 Progress and Happy New Year!

As usual I'm slacking with updates, but CTS are currently at 1/8 HC! Well done to everyone that's contributed to our progress so far.

Also we'd like to wish everyone a happy new year! Hopefully 2012 will be an even better year with more fun and adventures! Have fun and enjoy :)

A Legendary and Mounts At Last!

I may be afk but everyone else still seems busy! Vince has finally got his legendary but also the group have completed the meta for some purple mounts!

Heroic Beth'tilac and Staghelm down! 6/7 Heroic!

Last night saw us try heroic Beth for the first time and finish where we left off last week on heroic Staghelm. As expected the nerfs made these encounters quite trivial...tho Beth still needs some management at times.

This now brings us to 6/7 heroic tho heroic Rag might take a few weeks yet who knows!

Heroic Bale-rocked and Alysrazor shot down! 4/7 Heroic!

Well the nerfs have made these encounters much easier than before...Aly is quite a joke now. Anyways we've finally got these two down and more than likely Staghelm shall follow this weekend with an 8% pre-nerf wipe last week. No idea how squishy Beth is just yet...but we'll see!

Well done to everyone that has persisted on these fights each week. It's nice to see our progress continue! Let's make it 7/7hc soon!

Heroic Lord Rhyolith Melts Away! 2/7 Heroic!

After some frustratingly low % wipes last week everything came together last night and heroic Lord Rhyolith was one shotted! A much trickier fight than Shannox but it's only going to get easier.

2/7 heroic now woooo! Well done everyone involved for their efforts this past week...bring on the next one - I believe Alysrazor needs her wings clipped soon.

Heroic Shannox Hunted Down! 1/7 Heroic!

With this week's reset heroic modes have become available to us. With all the buzz that heroic Shannox was pretty easy, we decided to beat him at his own game and hunted him down. This brings us up to 3rd on the server apparently! (10man only) Far easier than normal old Raggy! Guess that'll be at least one crystallised firestone up for grabs each week.

Well done to those involved in the kill...keep the heroic progress going!

Firelands 7/7 - Ragnaros Extinguished!

After a few days of learning quite a stressful yet very fun encounter and some frustrating low % wipes, everything finally came together last night and we took down Ragnaros! We even got a surprise when we got the achievement Ragnar-O's...server first?!

Now that we've finally cleared Firelands it's time to get Rag on farm and try out some heroic bosses. Gratz to everyone that's worked on Rag for the past few nights!

Unfinished Business - Robots down!

As the flames of Ragnaros raged on we decided to leave him alone for a night and return to BWD for a change last week. The robot council had been left unchallenged for too long but they were no match for our Cardboard Tubes.

This brings us to 7/13hc. Congrats to everyone involved in the kill!

4.2: Rage of the Firelands

It's been awhile since the news has been updated but CTSamurai is still alive and kicking!

With 4.2 now out progress has been steady. As the Hyjal druids battle to extinguish the plane of fire we ventured further into the flames.

Unfortunately 6 of Ragnaros' minions failed to repel us from his domain. Rhyolith got stomped, Beth was squished, Baleroc turned into ash etc! However the Firelord himself is still alive...but not for long.

Well done to everyone that's worked on these bosses. 1 to go and then its heroic time!
