Sorry forgot to mention I changed my mind on Thursday and rang up and changed to the MSI card. £20 more but I couldn't be bothered waiting and I checked today and it is £15 more than what I payed for it. All over now and just happy everything is here
P.S. It lives!

Re: Computer Build help
I read some reviews saying the XFX wasn't very good compared to the other cards. I'll give it to the middle of the week and then give them a ring. Had to make the order over the phone due to their stupid delivery system to NI so will have to do it over the phone

Re: Computer Build help
Well I had a look there and added in the cheaper ram. I joined the Hexus forums and over the last few days have been posting enough to get free delivery so that's £20 off the total. http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/1982/ctschangesbuild.jpg EDIT: Also realised the monitor Heeuge linked is better du...

Re: Computer Build help
Thanks for all the information there. Sorry hadn't been checking the forums for a while there and I thought it would email me if there had been more replies. I had done a bit more research over the weekend there and got my max basket up to http://imageshack.us/f/22/finalpcbuild2.jpg I added a 64gb S...

Re: Computer Build help
Yea I know you would but that's just adding more money to the build that I should probably be sensible and try and save :<Kryten wrote:You think wrong. SSDs are awesome, and you only really need 100GB or so for a system drive.

Computer Build help
Hello everyone, I hope everyone is keeping well. I have decided to try and put together my first computer build as a treat to myself since I just finished my last exam at medical school last week (hopefully). I've been looking around and put this together on scan http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/1...

Re: The Edge of Darkness : Conclusion
I think it still looked quite fun. I was gutted that I had to drop out for exams etc and would be happy to join in another game over the summer. I only caught up on the story every couple of days but it definitely could have gone worse. I assume during all the fighting you were making rolls for ever...

New laptop for uni
Was hoping to make a thread in a couple of weeks about advice on building a new desktop. Unfortunately I managed to drop my laptop for uni from and it now refuses to work so looks like I need a replacement. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of getting a bargain before the...

Re: The Edge of Darkness
Sorry everyone but since we're not too far into the game yet I thought I should probably do this now rather than later. I'm feeling pretty swamped in the hospital at the moment so I can't really find the time to post during the day like I had hoped and my exams are also looming a lot closer than I t...

Re: The Edge of Darkness
(Well we can't really talk about the hotel etc because we don't know about it. Which is where I assume we are going next.) While listening to Arthur tell Henry what he had found out about the sarcophagus Henry added what he had found out from the journal. "From what I could find it seems the gr...

"I'm not sure about you two, but that's more than enough reading for one day as far as I'm concerned. I'd suggest we head to the hotel and meet up with the others. I can't wait to see their reactions when we tell them all this." "Seems like a fine plan to me, it has been a long day. ...
