Any improvements would be appreciated. I think taking TBW rather than more survival instincts is the way to go.

AOE spec to speed up heroics?

First things first, you always take 4/5 frenzy, 80% is plenty. Secondly, why savage strikes? Rather just 2 in Hawk eye or survival instincts.

That's what I would do, but I might be missing something here.. If you wanna AOE, why would you go BM/SV instead of MM/SV. I mean, it's just that you're missing out an all the cool crit, damage and the volley pushback talent

You missed the point Eazy.

It's a melee spec. Strangely from doing 3 pure random heroics (including a Forge of Souls), I only got 1 comment about being a melee hunter. That was from a healer going "omg melee hunter" about half way through the instance.

Maybe DPS don't like to bitch about your spec when you are top of the damage meters

Lord help us all I want to see some of those recount stats!

I was pulling about 4k dps on single target boss fights, and anywhere up to 12k on trash. Not amazing but given the quality of most dps in heroics it's not bad either.

I think it just goes to show how little attention people pay in heroics other than to look at their damage meter.
