Minecraft anyone?

Post by Septih »

I've played the single player a fair bit recently, but am tempted to try making a server for it, but online multiplayer requires paying for the game (£10, oh noes!). Is anyone else playing it, interested?

Spend the cash on L4D2 instead.

Bitch.

(No, I've not played Minecraft, though I've heard good things about it.)

I ended up buying both...

Just to spark anyones interest at all, you can play the alpha offline in single player mode for free!

I watched a youtube of this game before I left for canada.

Its strange, particularly the engine. It seems to have some really advanced lighting effects yet it has the same graphical pixel quality as doom

props to the man who wrote it tho

FYI the game goes from alpha->beta next monday. With that change the price goes up 5 euros and you lose the promise of all future versions of the game for free.

If I rented a server would anyone be interested (in playing, not necessarily paying)?

I would probably make a mudhouse or 2 if there was a place available. Been playing with a few mods recently to see what it's like
