Dead space
Picked this up while it was 75% and just thought I would throw this out there. I started on the first game but the mouse controls where so catastrophically bad that I really just cannot play anymore of it. It's a shame cause it looks pretty shiny too! I've heard the second game improves on it somewhat but the first seemed nigh unplayable to me!

Re: Dead space
name rings a bell. I seem to be linking it to being a console game, but I don't know why my head is making that connection.
Re: Dead space
I think there was a console release as well, it's a 2009 game so by no means new. I can't be sure though, I haven't done anything console since my old ps2.
Re: Dead space
I picked both 1 & 2 up at the weekend due to the steam offer, not got around to giving them a go yet but seemed a decent price.
Ropey - lvl80 Priest
Roopa - lvl80 Rogue
Darkropes - lvl70 Warlock
Ropair - lvl60 Retired Hunter

Re: Dead space
I got both of them for my xbox, and the controls there aren't too bad.
Better get yourself a xbox..

Re: Dead space
I had a pad but my brother broke it and I'm still waiting on him to replace it! I gave Dead Space 2 a shot and the controls are way way better, so I watched the recap video for the first game and now I'm up to date
Re: Dead space
Finally got to finishing Dead Space 2, turns out I'm a wuss when it comes to scary games so it's taken me quite a while to get it all done. Has anyone else played it? I was super confused by the end of the game. Previously it seemed like the necromorphs weren't all THAT frequent but each one could be deadly so every kill counted, but by the end it was just "here's a ton of ammo, blast your way through a bazillion of them." I must admit it did make the end rather tense as you couldn't afford to stop moving (not to mention the invincible necromorphs that could grow their limbs back) but it felt like in the space of a chapter I was playing a whole different game!
Re: Dead space
I have FEAR 1 and 2. Not played more than 5m of either. I am a wuss too.
