Yeah, Nightbane was pretty simple once we got the transition between phases sorted. During the successful fight, I managed to fluke a survival trick that can only have one explanation.... At the end of his 2nd flight phase, Nightbane landed and smacked all kinds of hell out of poor little heeugess. Somehow I took the hit and ended up with almost full health!
The only thing that could explain it (aside from Vince's prayer of mending
) is that I have 1/3 points in cheat death talent. This means I have a 10% chance to survive any hit that would otherwise kill me. A swing of 13543 should definitely have done that!
I'm sure 2.1 added a proc animation to cheat death but there was no mention of it in the combat log!

Terestian was just as much fun, though a much tougher fight. Since he goes all kinds of beserk after 10 minutes we had to get him down before that happened. The first attempt ended with him on 35~% and us all splattered. The second try was going to be a lot closer!
We dropped him to 1% hp with less than a minute left when he sacrificed Leto. With his bubble on CD we had to destroy the chains around him before returning to finish Illhoof. By the time Leto was freed Tere was back up to 3%. We had 20 seconds or so to nuke him before all hell broke loose. Everyone concentrated on him and soon he was back down to 1%. But then, just as we thought it was all going so smoothly..... we ran out of time and he went nuts.....
Luckily as he did so my super-powerful fiery weapon enchant procced on my OH and he went down
Nothing to do with that evisc of course.... it must've been the fiery proc!
