I read that as Ian party.... It was last weekend wasn't it?

As for our place, we only had the offer accepted a week ago so we've a ways to go yet before we move in. I'm sure some kind of gathering of PCs (and laptops if Tomas ever upgrades) can be arranged for a weekend once we're settled though - it's been years since I saw most of you....

The big question: Do I choose BT Infinity or Virgin 100mb cable?

heeuge; get both and have the largest e-peen on the street.

So in the end I just went for a standard SATA drive. I did look at SSD but I found that in order to make use of TRIM (which helps the longevity of the drive), you need to use Windows 7. Unfortunately when I do use Windows 7 I get lag in games, no matter what wireless network adapters I use.

So.... that was the deciding factor. Didn't want to buy an SSD that a few months down the line would slow down and maybe go tits up.

ach well! Ordered at 7:30 last night and received this morning at 8:50. And it was free delivery! wtf

fastest delivery EVER ?

Woah, that is super quick.

My network adapter seems fine with Win7, I can let you know what it is if you do ever fancy giving one another a try. Though I guess if you've tried a few then it may not help. :?

You are so old-fashioned ash

- You think SSD's are way too expensive
- You like XP over 7 for some silly reason

Tbh I do like Windows 7, but if I get lag in games I just can't hack it. How times have changed since my 56k days...
