Well since updating our progress thread doesn't get noticed I thought I'd make another post. On Sunday, after a few wipes, we killed Malygos on Heroic (25 man) difficulty. Yay, go us!



Loot was:

So that is it. Game over. All bosses dead

But OS hard mode! Ok sure we have killed him before so your statement is technically true. But we have to tell ourselfs theres actually something to do while we wait 3 months for Uldar.

Then our aim shall be to kill him before he enrages :) Would have been pretty dissapointing though if he had lived with 1%, so not a clean kill, but a kill nevertheless. That heroism at the start with no sparks down would have given us a few seconds more at the end. Another tactic should be to prioritize DPS going on discs in phase 2, top DPS should go first because afair there are more bad guys flying than mobs down to burn.

Next time it should go smoother, I was pretty confused at first, but then it became easy as far as tanking goes. I guess it's the same for dps/healers.

Btw, grats to all that were there. That was some nice teamwork :)

Was a great achievement though, last attempt as usual and everyone dead was just the icing on the cake!

I love watching that last bit of health trickle away from the boss and wondering if people will stay alive for the last few seconds.

Should go a lot smoother from now on I think, it really is one of those fights that sounds so complicated when explained, but after you've done it a couple of times it all makes sense.

Not that many people probably care but apparently it was 23rd guild first on the server.

Can't tell if that includes the guilds who left or not. Moves us to #20th on server, including furious and flare who have left the server.
