Is you buyin' it?

I am considering it, but I kinda have plans for tomorrow which I don't want to scupper, so I am hoping to wait a few days.

Playing single player level 2 for the 5th time to get the last achievement. The in game clock is fucked, and an achievement to do in less than 10 minutes apparently means less than 8 minutes in real time. :(

The single player looks appealing so I'll probably get it at some point. Not sure if I'll bother before i40 though - it's not like I don't have enough other games to play at the moment. :P

Has anyone done the Zero Hour achievement to kill the hatcheries?

If so. How? ;p

I did the level, but not the achievement. But I'd imagine that you could attempt it without escorting any of the trips to the starport as the achievement doesn't (to my knowledge) require any of the colonists to survive. Just build up a huge-ass army and gather as many mercenaries as possible and go into Zerg territory and kick ass.

If anyone fancies adding me on SCII, my name is 'Dave' and my character code is 658.

I just went back to Zero Hour to test something. Unfortunately it remembers what upgrades you've earnt/bought at the time you got to that level. I was hoping I'd be able to use the bunker upgrades but I couldn't. :( As for how you kill three hatcheries, the only way I can imagine doing it is to ignore the colonists completely and just go for the biggest army you can manage and go for it. Each Zerg base has more than one hatchery in it, but they also have plenty of spine crawlers.

[Edit] Hmm, mixed up levels a bit, I was thinking of The Evacuation. I'll go and give Zero Hour a play.

Quite tempted to get it, though I never played the original so not sure if I'll like it. I do quite enjoy a good RTS, not that I often play them.

Might wait for the price to come down though, think they're having a bit of a giggle with that...

Loving it. Taking it fairly slow as I don't want to finish it too quickly though! Looking forward to some LARN fun @ i40.
