Never heard of PitBoss before, and I don't think I've even played Civ IV despite owning it (same goes for Civ V, though I have at least played Civ III!), but it sounds good to me. How did one person bring the system down though?

On another note - QuietPC are running a Rock Band Tournament! Who's in? Oh, and they're also running a Frozen Synapse tournament apparently, if you're interested in that.

Pitboss is a cool dedicated server tool that 2K include in the game. It allows someone to setup a permanent running Civ IV server that players can connect and disconnect from freely. While disconnected the CPU takes control of your Civ if the other players choose to continue. I was exagerating a bit about the 1 person leaving thing.. it didn't actually effect us in the slightest with one person leaving so I don't know how that popped into my mind.

I'll be in for the Rock Band tournament! And the frozen tournament I've already opted into.

What time are people arriving on thursday? Anyone else coming via train?

My brother and I will be arriving by train. All of which take 4 hours to get to Telford! We have arrival times starting from 13:51 (earliest we will leave is 09:52) and then every hour after so if you would like to time your arrival with ours perhaps?

Also obligatory "Anyone got a spare space in their tent or should i bring mine?"

Had another game suggestion - Spiral Knights is apparently a Diablo-type game, a multiplayer dungeon crawl, and it's free to play. Check it out on Steam and download it if you're interested. I won't be playing it before I arrive at iSeries, so if you wanted to join a newbie-fest you could do the same.

Also, that's 2 for Rock Band, we need at least 2 more. Who else is in?

East Coast Website -> Hometown to Telford 25th /w Open Return ticked -> Search -> An Open Return valued at £77.90 for 2 Adult tickets /w YP cards.
