Sonic Generations

This is one that might have slipped under the radar due to things like Skrim/MW3 but definitely seems noteworthy. The selling point is that there are 2 different Sonics and thus 2 different gameplay styles. There's the modern 3D Sonic with the crazy speeds and the homing attacks and dashes, and theres the classic 2D Sonic with the iconic spin dash and "whoop" noises on the jumping. Both gameplay modes feel very polished and one thing that stands out is level design, the complexity and the number of routes is outstanding.
